CWC students spend 80% of training time in the booth welding and 20% on classroom work.
Courses do not require previous welding knowledge.
Skill assessments are available for people with experience to decide if it’s possible to bypass portions of a course. Skill assessments are held to
professional standards of welding.

Course 1:
Two Process Structural Plate Welding
SMAW & GMAW
Completion time: 10 weeks at Full time; 17. 5 weeks at Part Time
Includes: Resume Assistance
Great for: People seeking the bare minimum to get started in Industrial or Construction Welding
Course 2:
Four Process Structural Plate Welding
SMAW, GMAW, GTAW, and FCAW
Completion Time: 15 weeks at Full Time: 26 weeks at Part Time
Includes: Employer Referral & Resume assistance
Great for: people seeking an all inclusive package with flexible timing or length restriction
Covers all training of Course 1
Course 3:
Four Process Plate and Pipe Welding
SMAW, GMAW, GTAW, and FCAW
Completion Time: 25 weeks/6.5 months, only offered at Full Time
Includes: Employer Referral and Resume assistance
Great for: People seeking an all inclusive course that opens the most opportunities
Covers all training of Course 1 and 2
Non Standard Entry Level Courses:
GMAW/ mig welding:
Completion Time: 2 Weeks Full Time; 4 Weeks Part time
Includes: Welding Gear (Except Steel Toed Shoes), Books, and Welding Materials (no limit)
Not included: Certification Test and Employment Assistance
Great for: People seeking immediate employment. (Job prospects are in Fabrication and Production work)

Supplemental Welding:
Basic SMAW Welding
Completion Time: 4 Weeks at Full Time; 7 Weeks at Part time
Includes: Welding Gear (Except Steel Toed Shoes), Books, and Welding Materials (no limit)

Only for: Current Electricians and Carpenters
Work that require 3F and 4F certification Test
SMAW Pipe Welding:
Completion Time: 10 weeks at Full Time; 17.5 Weeks are Part Time
Includes: Books, Welding Materials (no limit), Certification Test, and Resume Assistance
Not Included: Welding Gear
This material is covered in Course 3
Only for: students that have completed a SMAW Plate Course,3G and 4G certified SMAW welders
