Welder can test at our accredited testing facility or at your company with a CWI witness.

To test a welder at your company location, a CWI must be present and the material can be submitted to our accredited testing facility for processing. We can provide a CWI for your company if needed.

Tests scheduled at Calumet Welding Center are done Monday through Friday at 7am.
Welders must have their own gear.

When scheduling, you need your process, material types, material size, positions, code book of certification, and WPS number.

Advanced notice of a day or more is preferable. Occasionally all of the welding booths are in-use, so please plan ahead.

Typically, results for contractors are received within 1-2 business days.
Certification documents may take between 3-10 business days.
